Totally unacceptable shortfall, made worse by the fact that a lot of that number is exercises and non-writing stuff. I need to fucking work on this, and I need to do so by writing every day. With 232895 words and 121 days left I need to be doing 1925 a day to make it, and that's just not feasible.
48/51/76 critiques
This is definitely bouyed by a week of critiquing Dan's novel, plus the more regular critiques through the Sanderson workshop. I wonder if I wouldn't actually be better served by putting critiques into a non-weekly column to correct for splurges. I don't feel like I'm being hurt by skipping weeks, and in fact that I'm even better served by lumps. Potentially also upping the number.
31/35/52 writing exercises
I have mixed feelings here. While I feel like these help, I'm spending too much time doing them, and using them as too much of a wordcount crutch. Should move down to two a month, instead of one a week.
46/69/104 submissions
I actually don't mind this number terribly, and I feel like I can pull it back up. I do feel like I'm sending out stories I don't completely believe in, but I do feel like I'm keeping well on top of it. Poetry's a freebee on this one.
30/35/53 peer submissions
This is a waste of time, because, honestly nobody reads the submissions at FWO. The ones at Write about have been somewhat useful, but also kind of basic. I'm afraid to waste people's time by submitting to codex. And often I'm doing okay-ish without peer review. Dead Apple Tree and Kestrel never saw a beta reader. I fall to pieces was just Lion. plus the escape pod bits. I think I should drop this number and concentrate on submitting to places where I'll get review from good reviewers.

Definitely need to do better about this, it's just a question of making time. Time alone.

And those twelve are often VERY small. I think I need to put an HOURS revising a week quota in, instead of words. I think that's probably the better plan.

Yeah, I'm awesome at rough drafts. Story a day in may doesn't hurt either.

eeeeeeh. I'm putting these off till the end of the month way too often. I'm also treating them like a chore, and I don't think that does me any good. But it's also a minor chore, and I've had some fun on the poetry front.

this is also unacceptable. Should also do an hours count on this one. I also want to make sure I'm reading at least a couple of these a month, even if I'm not translating them.
